This call took place on Dec. 12, 2006 @ 1853 hrs. It was a fully involved garage fire with one vehicle inside and one parked outside as an exposure. Units responding were E261, E26, E161, T164, E12, T12, L12 on the first alarm. Asst. Chief 16 called for additional apparatus and crews for water supply. E10 and a Tanker from Horneytown FD were quickly asked to stage at Station 16 and Station 26. E261 laid 3″ line with a siamese up the driveway and used a nurse tanker operation. The fire was extinguished with (2) 1.75 hand lines from E261. Thanks to Sta. 26 A-Shift for the information and photos from this call.
