Station 1 located at 508 N. Centennial St. is the home of Engine 1(formerly Engine 2),Squad 1 (formerly Squad 7) Haz-Mat 1, and Battalion 2. Engine 1′s equipment and personnel are part of the Departments Haz-Mat Response Team. Squad 1 is part of the Departments Dive/Water Rescue Team. The current station was built in 1975 with a land value of $50,000.00, construction cost of $394,726.00, and a total square footage of 11996 sq. ft. Engine 1 is first due to High Points Downtown District.
